Groundfall pilot installations around the world

Groundfall

Mixed reality

Three months ago, we introduced our brand new product, Groundfall to the world and the momentum has been going strong ever since.

Good news does not sit still for long, and this update is proof of that.

Groundfall is no longer something you'll see only on your screens. Now you can walk into a venue and enjoy it with your loved ones.

Three venues, three countries, and three communities already finding new ways to move and be active, all while trying not to fall in the lava.

We shared before how the game works, 19 different setups you can choose from, and answered the questions location-based entertainment operators are asking us most.

Let us show you where the first Groundfall pilot installations are spreading the joy of movement.

The first Groundfall pilot installation: SuperPark Vantaa, Finland

Groundfall found its first home at SuperPark Vantaa in Finland.

SuperPark Vantaa already runs ValoArena 6-player, ValoJump, and ValoClimb, three of our mixed reality gaming attractions, and they were one of the first to say yes to our new product - Groundfall, too.

We are grateful for that, and proud that the story started here 🇫🇮

Look closely at the photo above, and you will notice something. This unit looks a little different from the Groundfall you see on our channels today, because it was one of the very first prototype ever built. Our development team never stopped refining it since, and every improvement they made along the way is part of the mixed reality floor is lava attraction you can play now.

The next Groundfall pilot installation: Sprungbude Filderstadt, Germany

Groundfall's next pilot installation found a home at Sprungbude Filderstadt von JUMP House in Germany, part of the ActiveOn Group.

Sprungbude Filderstadt is one of Europe's biggest and most energetic trampoline parks, and ActiveOn Group runs trampoline park attractions across Europe as one of the continent's most active names in location-based entertainment industry.

Two ValoJumps already keep their guests bouncing, and now Groundfall joins the floor as their newest interactive floor game.

We're incredibly grateful and excited to see a partner of this scale bring Groundfall into their venues, and to help get even more people moving, laughing, and having fun together.

Thank you, Sprungbude Filderstadt and ActiveOn Group.

Groundfall pilot installation at JumpYard Sevilla, Spain

Groundfall's pilot installations keep crossing borders, and this one lands in Sevilla, in the south of Spain.

It's live at JumpYard Sevilla, part of one of Europe's fastest-growing trampoline park groups.

JumpYard Sevilla already offers three ValoJumps to their guests, and now Groundfall joins their line-up of experiences.

That makes three floor-is-lava attractions live in three different countries, in three months.

We're incredibly grateful and genuinely excited to see it live here, helping spread the joy of movement through even more fun experiences for their guests.

Thank you, JumpYard.

What Groundfall brings to your indoor entertainment venue

The most modular, retrofit-friendly product we have ever built. A standalone mixed reality gaming attraction, built on the viral floor-is-lava game concept everybody loves from their childhood.

That's the short version of why indoor entertainment venues are saying yes to Groundfall. Here's what's behind it.

🌋 Your guests already want to play it. The floor-is-lava game is already in their muscle memory, and that's exactly why the original version of it went as viral as it did.

📐 It retrofits in the space you already have. 19 setups, a ceiling height of just 2.8 metres, and no special flooring required. Find the size that matches your floor here.

🙌 It runs itself. Players step in, the game starts, and your team never touches it. We answered the 10 questions operators ask us most about running it day-to-day.

Groundfall is coming to IAAPA Expo Europe in September

Groundfall will be at IAAPA Expo Europe in London this September, at our booth, S2502.

We invite you to come by and play a round yourself. Bring your colleague or a friend along too. Our team will be there to walk you through configurations, pricing, and what it would take to bring Groundfall to your own venue.

P.S. This year also marks 10 years of Valo Motion, so there will be a little extra to celebrate at the booth.
