Valo Motion is a game development and hardware manufacturing company from Helsinki, Finland. We are a global provider of interactive augmented reality games that move tens of thousands of people daily in 65+ countries. We make products that combine sport and games into a seamless experience so fun that you forget you're even exercising. Our products have revolutionized how the amusement and activity park industry looks at combining sports and games. We are now looking for an Office Manager and HR Coordinator to join our growing team.

As Office Manager and HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for HR - processes from coordinating recruiting to guiding our personnel with love and care during all stages of employment. You enjoy meeting and helping people proactively as well as making sure employee benefits and processes are developed constantly. You’ll make sure our office is organized and has a welcoming atmosphere during the work days as well as any special events like game nights, product launches, or parties.

●  HR - tasks - Coaching and supporting our employees with all people matters throughout the whole employee lifecycle and developing the processes. Including: Employee document administration, and maintaining HR processes like timesheets and vacations.

●  Recruiting coordination - Making sure applicants are communicated and interviewed with respect and in a timely manner. Participating in recruiting events, making initial assessments, booking interviews and onboarding new employees.

●  Keeping the office organized - Making sure our new office stays organized and warmly welcoming to all employees as well as any quests.

●  Internal and external communication - Including tasks like weekly personnel newsletter and correspondence with external stakeholders, such as Occupational Healthcare and Office Service Suppliers.

●  Back office tasks - Invoice handling and other administrative tasks when necessary.

●  Company events - Organize fun and inclusive events.

●  Contributing to the development of our values and culture, keeping up the welcoming and fun work environment.


●  You are a people person with a minimum of 4 years of experience in HR and office related matters.

●  Experience in HR/People Development efforts preferably from a company in a growth stage.

●  You have superb interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

●  Excellent communications skills in Finnish and English.

●  At least Bachelor's degree in Business & Administration, preferably with HR as your major.
